I did not set out to build a skincare company. I set out to fix my own skin, and it worked, and then people kept asking me what I was using.

Rather than write another paragraph about it, here is the place itself, and me in it.
The part nobody sees
My twenties were not like this
I had extreme acne through my twenties. In my thirties it turned into age spots, dry patches, redness and lines, which arrived while I was travelling constantly, teaching, and paying no attention at all to what I was doing to myself.
I tried everything. Including the expensive things, bought in a hurry in airport shops, on the theory that the price meant something. None of it worked.
What I had, and did not think to use for years, was a background in organic chemistry and decades of study in yoga and Ayurveda. So eventually I stopped buying and started formulating.
Five serums, and an accident
I made five serums for myself. That was the whole plan.
Then I posted a photograph of myself promoting an online breathwork course, and almost nobody asked about the breathwork. They asked what I had done to my skin.
So I made some for them. Then their friends wrote. Then people I had never met wrote, telling me things had shifted that they had given up on years earlier. I had not expected that, and it changed my mind about what this was going to be.
Five serums became fifty-three formulations. The principle underneath them never moved.
Everything is still developed here, in house, and reformulated whenever a better ingredient becomes available. Nothing is frozen because changing it would be inconvenient.
How I formulate
Three rules, and I have never broken them

Fresh, genuinely
Everything is made in my lab in Las Vegas, in weekly batches. What is not used that week is not stored. It goes into the free samples that travel with every order, so the thing that reaches you is always at full strength rather than at the end of a long wait in a warehouse.

No fillers
Most of what you buy elsewhere is water and glycerine, because water is free and it makes a bottle go further. I use organic hydrosols where other people use water, and the actives sit at levels that do something. It costs more to make. That is the trade, and I made it on purpose.

Honest preservation
Water-based formulas are preserved with Geoguard ECT, an eco-certified preservative, because anything with water in it needs protecting and I would rather tell you that plainly. What I will not do is engineer a formula to look identical for three years, long after the actives have stopped working.
Who else uses it
The aestheticians order every week
Several aestheticians here in Las Vegas sell Formula Flawless to their own clients, on weekly delivery. They have tested it on their patients and they keep reordering.
That means more to me than any badge, and I say that as someone who holds the badge. People who could stock anything, and whose reputation depends on what they put on a client's face, choose to reorder this one every single week.
No compromise
Three things I will not do
I will not lower a price by lowering the potency. If a formula gets cheaper it is because an ingredient got cheaper, not because there is less of it in the bottle.
I will not freeze a formula to protect a margin. When something better becomes available, the formula changes, even when the old one is selling perfectly well.
I will not extend production to suit a warehouse. The week is the unit. That is the whole business model, and it is the reason the range is small and the lab is loud on a Tuesday.
None of this is a marketing position. It is the reason I can put my own name on the bottle and hand it to someone whose skin I care about.
A note from Rae
I still stand much too close to the bathroom mirror, in genuinely terrible lighting, looking for evidence. I have been doing that for years and it has never once worked.
What actually worked was feeding my skin properly and then leaving it alone long enough to do its job. That is a dull answer and it is the true one, and it is what every formula here is built to support.
